Mild headache. Just got in. What a wonderful day out. As planned, I took off work and went to Fairmount Park with my friend. We actually went to the Art Museum. I realized how small it seemed... The first time I was there, I felt like I could never see the whole museum because it seemed so big...
Well that was a few years ago... and I suspect it is because I have grown taller, and maybe even plumper(?).
Art museum wasn't as exciting as I had hoped, but it was still interesting. Well after that, we went to eat at Chinatown, then went to Cosi to do some reading over a cup of coffee.
I finished Hunger. I really enjoyed this book, I shall have to read more novels by Hamsun. So... I began Henry Miller's Colossus of Maroussi. A book about Greece... which seems to follow his anti-american theme. Miller is great, everyone should try him out.
Well after Cosi, I went to the 30th Street station to wait for the train, I called my friend John and asked him if he could pick me up, but he had to watch the house because he had people working on the carpet. I really wouldn't have minded walking home, but I had brought the guitar along, and it would be a pain to walk carrying that all the way home.
So, I decided to just sit at the trainstation and just play, sitting on a bench. I mean, I did bring the guitar, and never got to play. Perfect. So I found myself a secluded spot, and played for a good hour. A lovely time, the sun was down, the breeze in my face, in my hair, the music in the air...
I am more than 1/2 way done learning Jesu. About time. I hope to get better, learn more, learn more, and more. Playing the guitar is very relaxing for me.

Well finally got on the train around 7 pm, that is when i started reading the new book. Some guy with a rancid breath sat next to me for a bit, and that annoyed me.
But he eventually moved to a vacant seat, thank god. And here I am, home, writing about my day.

so there,
that was my day.
